Muppet Academy awards: Kermit the Frog Discloses What Fans Will Miss at Oscars

Within the wake of all of the Academy awards turmoil recently, everybody breathed a sigh of relief when Billy Very introduced he would go back to host the 84th Oscars for that ninth amount of time in Feb. But there have been some who felt a little scammed. After Eddie Murphy left his position as Oscar host -- following producer Brett Ratner's unseemly departure -- there is a groundswell of social networking support to possess the one and only Kermit, Miss Piggy and also the relaxation from the Muppets host the telecast. (The Muppets even launched their very own Melissa Leo-like "CONSIDER!" For The Consideration advertisements.) That did not happen, but what can a Muppet-located Academy awards have appeared as if? Allow Kermit the Frog to describe. The Insider requested Kermit to talk about what their opening number could have been if their hosting dream had become a reality. "As we were hosting, Miss Piggy desired to open together with her three-hour medley of each and every movie song ever written. That might be why they requested Billy Very to return. We like Billy and know he will be amusing ... of course.Inch It's OK, Kermit you may be envious (visited) this once. 'The Muppets,' which hit theaters on November. 23, has made over $57 million so far. The Oscars telecast airs on February. 26.
